This test material will be used exclusively as a Qualifying Test Examination for all incoming Grade 11 learners who wish to enroll in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Strand in Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School – Senior High School Department. The test items of this questionnaire are adapted from the Siyensya-bilidad 2 of the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI). MOGCHS SHS has been given the permission to use the said test through the initiative of Mr. Norven G. Baylan – Master Teacher II and Officer In-charge of MOGCHS SHS. 

This test material is a 50-item multiple-choice test type with four answer choices, only one of which is correct. You will indicate your answer by shading the circle in the answer sheet that corresponds to the letter of your choice The test material is consist of four (4) parts. Below are the parts and its corresponding descriptions: • Part I English (10 items). This part will measure your ability to apply the rules of the English language, specifically on grammar and syntax, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. 

Part II Science (15 items). This part consists of items in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science. It will test your ability to accomplish various important scientific tasks. 

Part III Mathematics (15 items). This part will measure your ability to comprehend qualitative relationships and their representations. 

Part IV Mechanical-Technical (10 items). This part will measure your ability to acquire information about everyday physics and to comprehend mechanical relationships. It also includes items that deal with physical forces. 

The actual examination will last for one and a half hours, including reading of instructions and filling out of forms. Once the examination begins, you will not be allowed to take bathroom breaks. Thus, it is best to attend to your personal needs before taking the test. 

     Ang asignaturang ito ay para sa mga mag-aaral na kumukuha ng Academic Track sa Ikalabindalawang Antas ng Senior High School lalo na sa Open High School Program. Nilikha ito upang maging isa sa mga paraan na maitaguyod ang pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral sa modyular na pamamaraan. Maging kaakibat ito ng guro sa pagsusubaybay sa proseso ng pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral habang isinasakatuparan ang mga inihandang gawain na nagmula sa mga modyul ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon. 

The pedagogy for language in the languages curricula focuses on developing learners' communicative competence. The approach espoused is

the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, which emphasizes the importance of using language for meaningful communication.

Instruction in this key stage urges learners to engage in a variety of communicative tasks that reflect real-life situations, such as participating

in group discussions, giving presentations, and writing emails. Teachers are encouraged to create a supportive and interactive classroom

environment that promotes communication and collaboration among learners. Additionally, teachers continue to recognize the importance of

the learners' first language in the process of acquiring a target language through the use of translanguaging strategies to facilitate the

development of learners' communicative competence (Savignon, 1987).

Panlipunan 6. Kawiwilihan mo ang nilalaman ng modyul sa Unang Kwarter, Ikapitong Linggo. Ito ay ginawa upang magbigay ng suplementaryong kagamitan sa iyo bilang gabay sa pag-aaral sa mga paksa sa Araling Panlipunan 6 na binubuo ng mga aralin na kinakailangang matapos sa loob ng isang linggo.
